WARSAW- Peggy Keen, 63, of SR 60 N, went home to be with the Lord in Heaven on Sunday Dec. 23, 2012 where there is no suffering and pain but rejoicing in the presence of Jesus. Peggy's family is grateful to the James Cancer Hospital, all of her doctors, nurses, and staff, Sheila and the staff of Hospice of Coshocton, and all good friends who have helped her passing, especially her great friend Belva.
Peggy was born in Alliance, Ohio on July 12, 1949, to the late Carl and Gayle Holsinger. She graduated from Alliance High School and Alliance Beauty College and was a practicing beautician for many years.
In November 1972, she married Robert Keen who survives. Also surviving are daughters Melissa Keen, Laura (Mark) Calhoon and Barbara (David) Jennings, and son Andrew (BriAnne Fortune) Keen. Grandchildren are Ranelle, Abigail, Michaela, Sydney, Josie and Bowen. She is also survived by a sister, Janet (Holsinger) and John Fisher of Alliance,a brother, David (Jessie) Holsinger of Tampa, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
Peggy loved to serve the Lord through children camp ministry, teen ministry and outreach projects.
She was a member of Coshocton Nazarene Church having been active in teen ministry, work and witness trips and musical dramas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at Coshocton Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Don Lain officiating. Calling hours will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Burial will be a Valley View Cemetery in Warsaw.
