R. Elaine Davis

Brinkhaven – Elaine Davis, 69, passed away after a brief illness at the Country Court in Mount Vernon on May 30, 2026.

She was born in Millersburg on December 25, 1956. She graduated from Danville High School in 1974, and worked for many years at Knox Community Hospital.

Elaine is survived by her children, Michelle McCain, and Robert (Tiffany) Davis; grandchildren, Chloe (Zach), Hunter, Austin (Kyra), Landen, and Brayden; her great grandkids, Myla and Maverick; siblings, Linda (Bill) Samples, Joy (Kenny) Addair, and Dave (Marie) Strouse; her devoted companion, Ron Blubaugh and his children and family; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Robert Fronsman; her mother, Mary Alice Logston Fronsman-Strouse (Paul); and a sister, Sandy Grennell.

At her request, a cremation will take place, and a Celebration will be held at a later time.
