Danville - Ronald J. "Bud" Shackle, 75, passed away Tuesday January 27, 2015 at the Knox Community Hospital.
He was born in Canton on August 12, 1939, to the late Cecil H. and Joyce K. (Palmer) Shackle. He was a barber for over 20 years, and retired after many years of factory work between the Flxible, Rolls-Royce, and Sano Corporations. His passion was fishing, hunting, and spending time with his friends at the P-A Rhinehart Muzzleloader Club.
He is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Jackie (Colopy) Shackle, his children; Jeff (Rochelle) Shackle of Butler, and Gail Cline of Mount Vernon, step children; Jim (Rachel) Myers, and Linda Myers both of Danville, grandchildren; Kyle Shackle of Butler, Karina McDonald (Chad) of Mount Vernon, Kory Shackle of Butler, and Jessica Cline of Mount Vernon, step grandchildren; Michael Myers (Tina) of Millersburg, Steven Myers (Katie) of Danville, and Shawn Myers of Danville, 3 step great grandchildren; Garrett, Wyatt, and Autumn Myers, and a brother, Don (Jean) Shackle of Mount Vernon.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville with Matt McManaway officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
