Rex A. Sapp

DANVILLE– Rex Alan Sapp, 65, passed away at home on December 14, 2023.

He was born Sept. 8, 1958 in Mount Vernon to Charles A. and Janet (Fesler) Sapp. He was a 1977 graduate of Danville High School.

Rex enjoyed groundhog hunting, riding 4-wheelers & ATVs, and sharing a beer while spending time with friends and family. He always had a smile on his face no matter his circumstances.

He is survived by his children, Blaine Anderson, Seth Sapp, and Trae (Sonya) Sapp; grandchildren, Seth, Khloee, Rhylee-Ann, and Coltyn; his mother, Janet Sapp; brothers, Bruce (Margie), Kevin, Shane (Kelly), and Aaron Sapp; sisters, Marcia (George) Durbin, and Brooke Sapp; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife and friend, Vicci Sapp.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chuck; a sister, Charlotte Totman; and a brother, Mike Sapp.

Calling hours are from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2023 at Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. A private family committal will take place at St. Luke Cemetery.
