HOWARD- Richard Maurice "Richie" Frazee, Jr., 33, of Schenck Creek Rd., died Tuesday November 29, 2011 at the Knox Community Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born Sept. 3, 1978 in Mt. Vernon to Richard M. and Patricia (Carter) Frazee. He was a 1996 graduate of East Knox High School, a former employee of the Columbus Zoo, and a camper, counselor, and staff member at Camp Hamwi, a camp for children with diabetes. He was a member of the Howard United Methodist Church, and the Central Ohio Diabetes Association (C.O.D.A.). He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a Buckeyes fan, and he enjoyed spending time with his dogs, "Katie" & "Haze".
He is survived by his parents, Richard & Pat Frazee of Howard, two sisters; Nancy Elizabeth "Beth" (Paul) Morrow of Grove City, and Mauricha Ann (Gregory) Marcussen of New Albany, his paternal grandmother, Ruby Frazee of Howard, a great-uncle, Richard C. Hunter of Howard, two aunts; Pam Carter of Mt. Vernon, and Nancy Mawer of Howard, two uncles; Roger (Emma) Frazee of Warsaw, and Michael Frazee of Howard, five nephews; Jason Morrow, and Benton, Corbin, Nolan, & Winston Marcussen, and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ross & Alice Carter, his paternal grandfather, Bernard Frazee, and an uncle, Tony Carter.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 at the Howard United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Cubie officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens.
