Warsaw- Richard Allen Murray, Jr., 25, of 41709 US 36, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the OSU Medical Center as the result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born Feb. 3, 1984 in Coshocton to Richard Allen Murray, Sr. and Wanda (Nelson) Spinks. He married Kasandra McCune on Oct. 10, 2008. He was a 2002 graduate of River View High School. He was employed at Mineral Fiber of Coshocton, was a member of the Walhonding Valley Firefighters, and loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Kasandra Murray of Warsaw, a daughter, Kerrigan Renee Murray of Warsaw, his parents; Richard A. (Deanna) Murray, Sr. of Coshocton, and Wanda Carol Spinks of Coshocton, three sisters; Amanda Dawn (Emmett) Shaw of Warsaw, Tara Ann Murray of Coshocton, and Tiffany Nicole Murray of Coshocton, his step-father, Chad Spinks of Warsaw, grandparents; Jim & Creta Stevens, Jim & Annabelle Border, and Alphis & Lynn Murray all of Coshocton, mother-in-law, Cinda McCune (Mike Mathews) of Coshocton, father-in-law, Dick (Mary) McCune of Port Washington, a sister-in-law, Tiffany (Mark) Mills of Coshocton, brother-in-law, Michael McCune of Coshocton, three nieces; Madison, Kacie, Riley, a nephew, Gavin, nephews Dominique & Trip Mills, and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Walhonding Valley Fire Station in Warsaw with Rev. Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Calling hours are from 4-7 P.M. Thursday at the Fire Station.
