MT. VERNON- Richard Charles “Rick” Spearman, 62, of Gilchrist Rd., died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born March 26, 1952 in Mt. Vernon to the late Robert C. and Edna (Smith) Spearman. He was a 1970 graduate of Danville High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his boys.
He is survived by two sons; Tyler & Josh Spearman of Mt. Vernon, their mother, Adriane, two sisters; Carol (Bob) Durbin and Anita Hollis, both of Danville, a brother, James (Penny) Spearman of Mt. Vernon, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville with Father Victor Wesolowski officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.
