Danville - Robert "Bob" Kerr, 57, died Friday May 8, 2009 at his residence.
He was born August 18, 1951 in Akron to Karl K. and Fannie R. (Campbell) Kerr. On May 1, 1993 he was married to Cynthia A. Smith. He served in the U.S. Army and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
He is survived by his wife; Cindy of Danville, daughter; Ginna (Jason) Crawford of Howard, son; Garth Kerr of Dublin, step-daughter; Erin Yarman of Utica, mother; Fannie (Steve) Defrancesco of Howard, sister; Karla (Craig) Walton of Wooster, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; Karl, brother; John, and his best friend; Gus.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Tuesday May 12 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Calling hours will be from noon until service time. Private burial, with military honors from the Knox County Veterans Council, will be in Union Grove Cemetery near Gambier.
