DANVILLE- Robert D. Miller, 54, of 26850 Harrisburg Rd., died Wednesday Jan. 9, 2013 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following a massive heart attack.
He was born Dec. 23, 1958 in Wayne Co. to Dan H. and Fannie (Troyer) Miller. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. (Keim) Miller, whom he married March 22, 1979. Also surviving are his eight children; Eli (Jessica) Miller of Gambier, Marvin (Martha) Miller of Danville, Miriam (David) Weaver of Danville, Fannie (Raymond) Hershberger of Lakeville, Esther (Mervin) Weaver of Danville, and John, Nettie, & Nelson Miller, all of the home, ten grandchildren, four brothers; Henry (Sara Etta) Miller of Millersburg, Roy (Dora) Miller & John (Barbara Ann) Miller, both of Apple Creek, and Ivan (Elsie) Miller of Fredericksburg, and a sister, Ruth (Abe) Yoder.
He is preceded in death by an infant son and a stillborn granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Sunday Jan. 13, 2013 at the Nelson Miller residence, 16947 Danville-Jelloway Rd. (SR 205) Danville, OH, 43014 with Bishop Albert Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery. Friends and family may call anytime at the home prior to the funeral on Sunday.
