Mount Vernon - Robert L. Reese, 99, passed away Monday March 10, 2014 at Emeritus at HillenVale.
He was born November 7, 1914 in Vaughnsville to the late Thomas J. and Ella E. (Gander) Reese. He was a member of the Howard United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his sons; Thomas (Mary Faith) Reese of Danville, and Dennis (Joann) Reese of Alabama, his daughter, Barbara (Emmis) Pratt of Howard, and 10 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian, a son, William, and a daughter-in-law, Margaret.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 14 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Patrick Bailey will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is an hour prior to the service.
