COSHOCTON- Robert Eugene "Bob" Smalley, 77, of Squarewood St., died Tuesday Oct. 15, 2013 at the Genesis Morrison House -Hospice and Palliative Care in Zanesville.
He was born May 25, 1936 in Coshocton to the late Carson "Mutt" and Madelyn (Lum) Smalley. He was a 1954 graduate of Coshocton High School. He married Velma A. (Davis) Smalley on March 3, 1956, who preceded him in death on April 19, 2013. He retired from Clow Water Systems in Coshocton after 50 years of service. He enjoyed watching football, basketball, and baseball. He attended Gospel Hill Ministry in Warsaw for many years.
He is survived by a daughter, Vicki (John) Swails, a son, Rob Smalley, and a sister, Jean Moore, all of Coshocton.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana R. "Boo" Smalley.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday Oct. 17, 2013 at Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
