Coshocton- Roland Floyd Foster, 75, of Clow Lane, died Sunday, June 29, 2008 at the Coshocton Co. Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born Dec. 12, 1932 in Coshocton to Robert and Mary (Holder) Foster. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1955. He was a carpenter, and also enjoyed art and poetry.
He is survived by a sister, Florence Jones, and three brother; Bruce Foster, William (Diane) Foster, and Dale (Barbra) Foster all of Coshocton, two children; Debbie (Dave) Sarrentino and John (Karen) Tackett of Tampa, FL, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two step-children; Chris and Michelle Pringle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Terry Hall, and two sisters; Gail and Roberta Fay Foster.
There are no services. Per Roland's request, his ashes will be scattered, and a family function will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pomerene Center for the Arts, 317 Mulberry St., Coshocton, OH 43812. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
