BLISSFIELD- Rom Lee Smith, Sr., 39, died Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the Summa Health System’s Akron Campus ICU, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Sept. 20, 1986 in Coshocton to Alotta (Dean) Turner. He was a 2006 graduate of River View High School, and a former over-the-road truck driver. He also worked for a short time with Just1Crew in Killbuck.
Rom enjoyed gaming on Xbox, and was very kind and gentle. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his son, Rom Lee Smith, Jr. of Blissfield; his mother, Alotta (Clinton) Turner of Blissfield; three sisters, Annetta Kramer of Shreve, Serena Shaffer of Holmesville, Hope (Lee) Mutton of Scio; step-brothers, Reggie (Kim) Turner of Wooster, Matt (Hope) Turner of Wooster; several nieces and nephews; grandparents, Goldie Dean of Blissfield, and Frank Dean of Loudonville; and three uncles, Harry (Reba) Gracyk of Coshocton, Kevin (Betty) Dean of Loudonville, and Steve (Jolyn) Dean of Blissfield.
He was preceded in death by three uncles, Gary & Barry Gracyk, and Frank Dean.
There will be no services. Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is assisting his family.
