DANVILLE- Roman J. Hershberger, 80, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017 at his home.
He was born Jan. 5, 1937 to the late Jonas and Katie (Troyer) Hershberger. He was married Feb. 28, 1958 to Mary A. Weaver. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three brothers; three sisters; thirteen children, Anna (Henry) Hershberger of Oak Hill, Albert (Lizzie) Hershberger of Danville, Edna (Eli) Raber of Danville, Jonathan (Edna) Hershberger of Lakeville, Jonas (Anna) Hershberger of Howard, Fannie (Aden) Hershberger of Blanchard, MI, Daniel (Verba) Hershberger of Lakeville, Katie (David) Kuhns of Howard, Orpha (Raymond) Hershberger of Blanchard, MI, Ervin (Naomi) Hershberger of the home, Susan (Andy) Hershberger of Lakeville, Laura (Levi) Troyer of Danville, and Maryann (Atlee) Weaver of Danville; 109 grandchildren; and 96 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 at his residence, 28201 Black Rd. Danville, OH 43812, with Bishop Albert Weaver officiating.
