WARSAW - Ronald James Richcreek, 86, of SR 79 died October 18, 2009 at the Autumn Health Care Center in Coshocton.

He was born Oct. 23, 1922 in Coshocton to the late Raymond L. and Cleona N. (Perkins) Richcreek.

He was a retired tool designer. He was a member of the Nellie Chapel United Methodist Church and served as a seaman and gunner's mate in the U.S. Coast Guard on the USCGC Taney. He also enjoyed woodworking and carving.

He is survived by a daughter Barb (John) Stagmyer of Warsaw. Two sons, Arden L. (Kathy) Richcreek of Orlando, FL and Stephen L. (Bobbi) Richcreek of Medina. Granddaughters, Shelli (Wes) Miller, Lisa (Dick) Cunningham, Jenni (Tim) MacDonald, Nisha (Tom) Festing, & Paige Richcreek. A step granddaughter, Jessica Ontko. Grandsons, Brad (Lori) Stagmyer & Scott Stagmyer. Step grandson, Josh Tyson. Great grandchildren Amiee, Aarika, & Jarett Miller, Alexis & Syndney Cunningham, Zach, Ashley, & Elizabeth MacDonald, Bethany & Alysa Stagmyer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. (Cullison) Richcreek, who he married Feb. 20, 1946, she died Jan. 3, 2003. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, John, & Larry Richcreek and a sister, Twila Uebel.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Mr. Ray Griffith and Pastor Coralee Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw with graveside military services conducted by the Coshocton County Joint Veterans Council. Visitation is Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. and until service time on Wednesday.
