KILLBUCK- Roxanne McFadden, 49, of Buckeye Alley, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at her residence.
She was born Oct. 5, 1961 in Wooster to George B. and Sarah Sue (Sampsel) Carpenter. She was a member of former Layland Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher.
Roxanne lived life to the fullest, taking things one day at a time, and living each day as if it were her last. She loved spending time with her family and very close friends. Her favorite place was on the Killbuck Creek bank, a cooler and tent by her side, enjoying her "pork chops". She was a very good cook, loved cleaning, playing horseshoes, and had a big heart. She was a great person who will be loved and greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, David S. McFadden of Holmesville, who she married Oct. 30, 1977. Also surviving are her parents, three daughters; Jamie Palmer of Wooster, Stephanie (Erick) Morris of Killbuck, and Brenda (Joshua) Lowe of Killbuck, a son, David James (Crystal Dilly) McFadden of Killbuck, ten grandchildren; Tyler & Kelsey Beckett, Trenton & Legend Baker, Jeremiah, Sarah, & Samuel Brock, Destany Harris, and Brooklynn & Liberty McFadden, a step-grandson, Jarrett Palmer, two brothers; Chad Carpenter of Killbuck, Robert (Patricia) Carpenter of Holmesville, a sister, Barb (John) Palmer of Brinkhaven, a very special friend, Ivan "Homer" Hickman of Killbuck, and several nieces and nephews and friends she considered family.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation is two hours prior to service time.
