DELAWARE- Ruby L. (Randles) Peters, age 94, formerly from Newcomerstown, Ohio, passed away on August 23, 2016, at the Country Club Rehabilitation Center in Delaware, Ohio.
Born in Warsaw, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Merrill F. Peters; her parents, William and Verna Mae Randles; brothers, Leonard W. "Smiley" Randles, Paul Randles; and sister, Alice Shoup. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Arden) Freeman of Powell, Ohio and Gregory Peters of Johnstown, Ohio; grandchildren, Melissa (Nathian) Schiffel and Brooks (Casey) Peters; and two great-grandchildren, Perri Schiffel and Brody Peters.
She was a member of the Isleta Methodist Church in Newcomerstown, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Rev. Luanne West officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
