COSHOCTON - Ruth Louise Brown, 87, a resident of the Extended Care Facility at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital died September 29, 2008 at the Extended Care Facility.
She was born March 1, 1921 in Zanesville to the late Emmett H. and Nellie M. (Howell) Springer. She co-owned and operated Brown's IGA Grocery Store in Coshocton. She attended the Coshocton Church of God and the Coshocton Nazarene Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Bill) Beals of Stow. A son, Ronald (Debbie) Brown, Sr. of Coshocton. Grandchildren, Stacy Lawrentz, Quent Burris, Jeret Burris, Ronald Brown, Jr., and Darcy Brickles. Nine great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren. A sister, Betty Niemeyer of Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry O. Brown, in 1999, and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastors Joe Clark and Richard King officiating. Burial will be in the South Lawn Cemetery in Coshocton. Visitation is Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 6-8 P.M. and until service time on Thursday.
