LOUDONVILLE - Sadie Roberta Bush, 90, a resident of the Colonial Manor Care Center, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Knox Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
She was born April 25, 1921 in Buckhannon, WV to the late Van Alonzo and Nancy Lang. She was married to the late Noah Thomas, and later to Willard T. Bush, Sr. on Feb. 16, 1950, who preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 1999. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and spending time outdoors and with family.
She is survived by two sons; David (Debbie) Thomas of Loudonville, and Willard (Nanny) Bush, Jr. of Warsaw, two daughters; Mildred (Robert) Shoults of Warsaw, and Patsy (Bruce) Bickle of Fresno, a step-daughter, Lucille Shearn of Warsaw, seven granddaughters, eight grandsons, twelve great-granddaughters, six great-grandsons, and one great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Russell Thomas, three grandsons, four brothers; Frank, John, Fred, and Russell Lang, and two sisters; Jessie Ruffle and Tressie Blizzard.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Sharon Kirch officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service on Friday. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
