Sandra K. (Murray) Stoker

BRIGHTON, MI- Sandra K. (Murray) Stoker passed away at home on September 26, 2022 following a long illness.

She was 80 years old, born to the late Fred and Lillian V. (Dobson) Murray. Mrs. Stoker was married to Michael Stoker for 55 years, he survives. The couple were junior high school sweethearts, were married on July 1, 1967, and moved to Michigan that same year.

Sandra was a registered nurse, having worked for a time at River View Local Schools. She was also a business woman, joining her husband in 1978 in forming a corporation specializing in the design and building of coin-operated laundries and car washes.

The couple had no children and resided in Hamburg Township for 45 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Steve (Nancy) Murray of Coshocton; a niece, Shelly (Jeff) O’Dell; a nephew, Marc (Stephanie) Murray; great-nieces and great-nephews, Carli (Austin) Kirby, Dustin (Mallory) O’Dell, Ethan Murray, and Keeley Murray; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Vivian Carole Murray.

A private burial will be held, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is assisting with local arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
