MT. VERNON- Sarah A. Leslie, 91, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Emeritus at Hillen Vale, where she was a resident for the past 3 and a half years.
She was born May 18, 1920 in Hillsdale Co., MI to the late Harvey and Mayme (Bird) Price. She married Clair R. Leslie, who preceded her in death. She was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hicksville.
She is survived by two sons; Dennis (Nancy) Leslie of Sedalia, CO, and John Leslie of Stryker, a daughter, Ellen Leslie of Mt. Vernon, three grandchildren; Christine Summers, Michelle Roush, and John Leslie II, three great-grandchildren; Lauren Roush, Scott Summers, and Lindsey Roush, three sisters; Lucille Snyder, Gerry Bowdich, and Elinor Spurloch, a brother, Frank Price, and many nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by fifteen siblings.
There are no services scheduled. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
