Shannon D. Aune

Greer – On January 19, 2022, Jesus called Shannon D. Aune home because he needed another painter.

Shannon, 64, was born on October 31, 1957 in Granite City, IL to Douglas and Alice Marie (Coleman) Aune, who preceded him in death along with a grandson, Colton Aune.

He is survived by his children, Felicia N. Aune of Nashville, Jacob D. Aune of Millersburg, Thaddeus J. Aune of Greer, Kimberly of Akron, and Matthew of Shreve, his brothers; Michael J. (Kathy) Aune of New Mexico, Christopher P. (Chi Young) Aune of Batesville, IN, Sverre E. (Becki) Aune of Mt. Vernon, and Keven P. (Wendy) Aune of Howard, sisters; Angele M. Aune of Fredericktown, and Aimee E. Aune of Mt. Vernon, grandchildren; Paige, Marrisa, Kourtney, Trinity, Autumn, Morgan, Jordan, and Alexis, and dear friends; Peggy and the Williams family.

Calling hours will take place from 2-4:00 Sunday, January 23, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. A cremation will follow. Those who would like to make memorial donations can do so to the funeral home to help with expenses at PO Box 515 Danville, OH 43014, or at the top of this page.
