Shirley N. Adams

        WARSAW- Shirley N. (Blankenship) Adams, 75, died Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.

       Shirley was born Oct. 4, 1950 to the late William and Agnes (Street) Blankenship. She married Ernest Adams on Jan. 16, 1968, who preceded her in death May 25, 2025.

       She worked at Dreco in North Ridgeville for many years, where she had many friends. She was a member of the Ohio Eastern Star.

       Shirley loved flowers, gardening and raising her chickens. She loved spending time with all her family, grandkids and her dog Fancy who loved and protected her.

       She is survived by a daughter, Lora Lynn (John) Hostal of Wellington; grandchildren, Erin Renee (C.J.) Swander of New London, John Andrew Hostal of Berea, and Leslie Dawn (Tyler) Gill of Bucyrus; five great-grandchildren, Lucas, Joey, Hunter, & Jaxson Gill, and Hope Esabelle Swander; her siblings, Ruby (Don) Horn, Ralph (Jan) Blankenship, and Terry (Linda) Cooper; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Larry Adams.

       In addition to her parents, William Blankenship & Agnes Cooper, and husband, Ernest Adams, she was preceded in death by a son, Evan Ernest Adams; a granddaughter, Leigha Nicole Hostal; a great-granddaughter, Leigha Esabelle Swander; and three brothers, Thurman Blankenship, Vester Blankenship, and Jim Blankenship,

       Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Eddie Adams officiating. An Ohio Eastern Star memorial will begin the services. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
