Holmesville – Shirley Lucille Cooper, 81, passed away Wednesday February 28, 2018 at the Holmes County Home.

She was born March 29, 1936 to Chester and Florence (Englehardt) Cooper, who preceded her in death along with her sister and brother-in-law; Alice Jo-An and Larry Beard. Shirley enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, games, and spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her brother, Robert (Shirley) Cooper of Walhonding, nieces and nephews; Sherri (Louie) Stephens, Mitch Cooper, and Doug (Tracy) Cooper all of Millersburg, Mark (Allison) Beard of Woodbridge, VA, Joanna (Todd) Frankenberry of Tampa, FL, and Jonathan (Kim) Beard of Lecanto, Fl, and several great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday March 4 at the Union Grove Church of Christ, where burial will follow in the church cemetery. Bob Hines and Jonathan Beard will be officiating.
