COSHOCTON - Steven Lester "Big Al" Albert, Sr., 55, of Otsego Avenue died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.
He was born Jan. 3, 1956 in Coshocton to Lester A. "Bud" and Glenda (Hough) Albert.
He was self employed, owning Bud's Refuse and owned the Red Brick Saloon for 30 years. He was a member of the Coshocton Eagles, Elks, AMVETS, & the Army/Navy Club. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Coshocton and the Scottish Rite of Cambridge. Steve loved his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed motorcycling, playing poker, sports, traveling , and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Crowthers) Albert, who he married Oct. 10, 1988. Also surviving is his mother, Glenda of Coshocton. A son, Steve Albert Jr. (Crystal) of Coshocton. A daughter, Lisa (Blake) Glazer of Coshocton. Grandchildren, Raiden, Jade, & Stevie Marie Albert. Two sisters, Connie L. (Don Jr.) Allen of Coshocton and Lori M. (Larry) Starcher of Carrollton. And his companions, his dogs, Carson & Chopper and his cat, Spice.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Albert and his brother, Bradley G. Albert.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 at 11:00 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Evangelist Sam Dunn officiating. Visitation is Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 from 4-7 p.m and until service time on Wednesday. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
There will be a time of food and fellowship following the funeral Wednesday at the Coshocton Eagles Lodge.
