Warsaw- Sue Ann Kaufman, 59, of 38111 CR 41, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009 as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born Oct. 14, 1949 in Coshocton to the late George E. and Lillian E. (Stockum) Slaughter. She married Jay Kaufman on Dec. 20, 1967, whom survives. She worked at Wells Greenhouse for 24 years. She loved gardening, and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Kaufman of Warsaw, a son, Jay (Virginia) Kaufman of St. Robert, MO, a daughter, Ericka (Michael) Doyle of Nellie, five grandchildren; Michael Fearing, Jerry Fearing, Heather Kaufman, Mathew Doyle, and William Doyle, one great-granddaughter, two brothers; John H. (Linda) Slaughter of Warsaw, and Lyndon E. (Marlene) Slaughter of Warsaw, four sisters; Judy (Lawrence) Wiley of Nellie, Joanie (Larry) Mikesell of Coshocton, Ada Rose of Nellie, and Gayle Stevens of Coshocton, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a sister, Andrea, and A brother, George "Randy" Slaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Cremation will take place after the funeral. Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24th, and until service time on Friday.
