Gambier – Suzanne "Suzie" Kay Metcalf, 50, died Friday February 12, 2016.
She was born in Mount Vernon on August 4, 1965 to Helen (O’Donnell) and Robert J. Sapp. She was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville, and helped people as a care giver with New Hope Industries.
She is survived by her sons; Maxwell Joseph Metcalf (Aimee Lynn Gillespie), and Alexander Mitchell Metcalf both of Gambier, her mother, Helen of Brinkhaven, a brother, Larry Sapp of Howard, sisters; Lori Sapp of Brinkhaven, Lynn Sapp of Howard, Lois (Bill) Stevens of Granville, Joan (Henry) Waggoner of Brinkhaven, Joyce (Kenny) Fawcett of Brinkhaven, and Becky (Chris) Jones of Gambier, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and her beloved dog “Benny”.
She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Alan.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 20 at the St. Luke Church in Danville. Father Homer Blubaugh will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville fro 5-7 p.m Friday. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
