Ted J. Iaquinta

COSHOCTON - Theodore Joseph "Ted" Iaquinta, Jr., 79, of Zero Street died January 30, 2009 at his residence.

He was born April 6, 1929 in Galloway, West Virginia to the late Theodore and Jenny (Thoboise) Iaquinta.

He was a retired jeweler, a World War II U.S. Marine veteran, a graduate of the West Virginia University, and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Coshocton. He was active with the Footlight Players Little Theatre in Coshocton, where in his last play he was the lead in "Fiddler On The Roof." He loved to golf and was in several golf leagues. He also loved to cook and be in the kitchen. He was also known as a great storyteller.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne (Florence) Iaquinta, whom he married April 30, 1972. Also surviving are two sons, Theodore (Rebecca) Iaquinta of Tennessee and Michael (Cheryl) Iaquinta of Columbus. Two daughters, Susan (Chip) Stalter of Columbus and Amy (Budd) Wagstaff of Columbus. A stepson, Stephen (Julie) Lennon of Columbus. Three grandchildren, Michael Benjamin Iaquinta, and Patrick and Evan Wagstaff. Two step grandchildren, Katelyn & Ian Lennon. A sister, Philomenie Spadafore of Morgantown and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Iaquinta.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the South Lawn Cemetery in Coshocton. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is assisting the family with arrangements.
