Amity - Terry Lee Davis, 59, died Wednesday December 7, 2011 at his residence.
He was born May 22, 1952 in Mount Vernon to Mildred E. (Houck) and Donald W. Davis. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, mushroom hunting, Nascar, football, and coaching baseball.
He is survived by his wife; Deborah (Wilson) Davis, children; Lita (Jeff) Mowery, Tracy Davis (Joey Strouse), Jessie Davis, Sarah Cooke, and Jeffrey (Tammy) Davis, grandchildren; Mark, Amanda, and Matthew Mowery, Christina, Jayme, and James Hambleton, Evelyn Davis, Tristan and Joshua Cooke, and Jesse Bevington, great grandchildren; Braden and Alexis King, sisters; Patricia Partlow and Linda (Ron) Edwards, many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, mother-in-law; Doris (Lloyd) Hyatt, brother and sister in law; Scott and Tracy Hines, and the entire Stumbaugh family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife; Christina A. (Stumbaugh) Davis.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 10, 2011 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-8 on Friday.
