Howard - Thelma Irene Hagans, 76, died Thursday January 14, 2010 at the Knox Community Hospital.
She was born April 3, 1933 to William and Donna (Zimmerman) DeVore. She married Willard Martin Hagans on June 18, 1955, who died October 9, 1986. She retired as the head cook from Spearman's Restaurant in Millwood.
In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by her parents, her son; Willard Eugene Hagans, her sister; Betty June DeVore, and her brother; Gerald C. DeVore.
She is survived by her son; John Hagans of Howard, daughters; Becky Elliott of Howard, and Kathy Sheldon of Mount Vernon, 12 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held from 1-3 on Sunday January 17, 2010 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. There will be no funeral service or burial.
