Thomas Reese

Danville – Thomas V. Reese, 86, passed away at home on Sunday December 8, 2024.

Tom was born in Putnam County on November 5, 1938. He was the son of Robert L. and Lillian (Benroth) Reese, who preceded him in death along with his wife, Margaret Louise (Tindall) Reese; and brothers, William and Dennis (Joann) Reese. He loved farming, his family, and having fun, and as Tom would say, thanks for the memories.

He is survived by his daughters, Kim Miller of Mansfield, and Kathy (Kevin) Byers of Danville; grandchildren, Chris Miller, Brooke Breitinger, Kristi Thomas, and Kurt Byers; great-grandchildren, Gracy, Gavin, Reese, and Cali Miller, Landon and Sophia Breitinger, James and Abigail Thomas, and Kurt Byers; and sister, Barbara (Emmis) Pratt of Mount Vernon.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Cody Reese and Dave Baer will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours will be from 5-8:00 Monday, December 16.
