WARSAW- Thomas Edward "Tom" Smith, 50, of TR 26, died Sunday Jan. 27, 2013 at the Coshocton Co. Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 3, 1962 in Coshocton to the late Donald Alfred and Goldie Marie (Price) Smith. He was an auto mechanic for Mission Auto Connection. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was squirrel hunting, cutting firewood, 4-wheeling, or just going for a walk. He loved to spend time with his friends and family, especially taking road trips to Myrtle Beach among many places.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 15 years, Lora (Wilson) Smith of Warsaw, whom he married on Feb. 21, 1998. Also surviving are four siblings; Sally Ronald (Christine) of New Philadelphia, Jim Smith of Coshocton, Ruth Strange of Warsaw, and Kathy (Roger) Perdue of Coshocton, several nieces and nephews, and his dog, "Pee Pee".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Helen Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday Jan. 31, 2013 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Darling Run Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
