WARSAW- Valda Marie Ridenbaugh, 91, of Spring Mountain Rd., died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 29, 1920 in Big Run, Spring Mountain to the late Walter and Eunice (Mellor) Snow. She married Raymond F. Ridenbaugh in Brownwood, TX on Dec. 15, 1941. She was a 1938 graduate of Warsaw High School, an employee of the former Town & Sander Rubber Factory in Warsaw, and Dr. Floyd Craig's office. She was a member of the Spring Mountain and Warsaw United Methodist Church, and the Ohio Eastern Star. She loved and adored her husband of 70 years, enjoyed gardening, flowers, and caring for her farm animals.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Ridenbaugh of Warsaw, four children; Connie (Paul) Wilson of New Castle, Pamela (James) Adams of Coshocton, Ronnie Ridenbaugh of Nellie, and Cherie Dilly of Spring Mountain, a very special granddaughter and wonderful caregiver, Kim Wilson, her five other grandchildren; Kris (Shelly) Wilson, Rodney Adams, Ryan (Emily) Adams, Dawn Dilly, and Tina (Glen) Geog, twelve great-grandchildren; Samantha Wilson, Staci D'Ostroph, Clayton Wilson, Alex & Austin Adams, Nathan & Julia Adams, Seth Dickerson, Courtney Hagans, and Trevor, Glen Jr., & Cory Geog, three great great-grandchildren; Ellie & Noah D'Ostroph and Jackson Williams, two sisters; Jean & Vada Snow of Coshocton, two sisters-in-law; Helen Endsley of Norwalk, and Ida Ridenbaugh of Cape Coral, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Blaine (Irene) Snow, a sister, Vang (Francis) Krownapple, and a son-in-law, Danny Dilly.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Charles Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
