BALTIC - Vera Mae Barrick, 95, a resident of the Oak Pointe Care Center and formerly of Coshocton died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011 at the care center.
She was born March 10, 1916 in Coshocton County to the late Robert and Clara (McClelland) Daugherty.
She was a homemaker. A member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church and the VFW #1330 Ladies Auxillary.
She is survived by a son, Carl Michael (Martha) Barrick of Dresden. A daughter-in-law, Sandy Barrick of Roscoe. Five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Barrick, who she married Nov. 13, 1936. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ann Barrick, a son, Ronald E. Barrick, a grandson, Timothy M. Barrick, and three brothers, Kenneth, Fred, & Robert Daugherty.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Coralee Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m on Friday at the funeral home.
