Warsaw- Virgil Andrew Claypool, 50, of 26711 TR 345, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at his residence.
He was born July 14, 1959 in Buckhannon, WV to Andrew M. and Gladys (Moats) Claypool. He married Martha (Shaw) Claypool on July 1, 2000, who survives. He was a member of New Beginnings Church in Warsaw, and was a carpenter and a mechanic. He also loved taking care of his land.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Claypool of Warsaw, two sons; Andrew and Bruce Claypool, both of Mt. Vernon, one grandson, his father, Andrew M. Claypool of Webster Springs, WV, three sisters; Lucille Skidmore of Sutton, WV, Cindy Claypool of Webster Springs, WV, and Shirley Brooks of Grassy Creek, WV, and several aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Claypool, grandmother, Ossie Skeens, and two brothers; Homer and LeRoy Claypool.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 20010 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Tiverton Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
