Mount Vernon - Virginia (Long) Giffin, 96, formerly of Danville, passed away Friday February 6, 2015 at the Whispering Hills Care Center.
She was born May 1, 1918, and married Delbert B. Griffin on August 5, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2006.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 10, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Don Hosier will officiate. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
