MILLERSBURG- William Joshua Sampsel, 32, of TR 319 and formerly of Warsaw, died unexpectedly Friday, April 6, 2012 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
He was born May 17, 1979 in Coshocton to William Keith and Sharon Lynn (Laughlin) Sampsel. He was a 1997 graduate of River View High School. He was employed at the Wayne Dalton Company in Mt. Hope. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He was an enthusiastic Ohio State fan, and he expressed himself through his love of tattoos and music. He was a caring friend, who would give the shirt off his back no questions asked. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends, and caring for the love of his life, his daughter Tinley.
He is survived by his parents, William "Bill" & Sharon Sampsel of Warsaw, a sister, Tonya (David)Torres of Maryland, his special friend and companion, Tiffany Mellott and their daughter, Tinley, both of Millersburg, his grandparents; Leone Sampsel of Blissfield, and Edith Laughlin of Canal Lewisville, an aunt, Carol (Tom) Wolfe of Coshocton, three uncles; Larry Sampsel of Blissfield, Randy (Debbie) Sampsel of Warsaw, and Dave (Ann) Laughlin of Canal Lewisville, a nephew, Joaquin Torres, and a niece, Adriana Torres, both of Maryland, several cousins, and two very special little friends, Madison and Keely Mellott of Millersburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Joshua "Junior" Sampsel and Loren Laughlin, an aunt, Judy Chapman, and his dog, "Kane".
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday April 12, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Richard King officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens.
