Wayne M. Ashmore

Wayne Monroe Ashmore, 90, died Monday, September 26. 2022 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH. God said it was time.

He was born Dec. 1, 1931 in Manchester, OH to the late Leo Ashmore & Nellie Gifford.

Wayne was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and founded Ashmore Heating & Cooling in 1972.

He is survived by his sons, Bob (Pam) Ashmore & Mark (Ann Loy) Ashmore. A daughter, Kelly Frame. A brother, George Laypoole. 7 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren and many others who loved him as their own. He had many others he enjoyed coffee and conversations with everyday. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther & Larry Laypoole.

There will be no services at this time.

The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, OH is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
