Coshocton- Wayne Elton Lumm, 60, of CR 58, died Friday, Aug. 14, 2009 at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 29, 1949 in Coshocton to Rollin and Jane (Selders) Lumm. He was an Army MP officer during Vietnam, and later worked as a union carpenter until his retirement. Wayne greatly loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his step-father; Don Darr of Coshocton, daughters; Tanya (Rick) Stottlemire of Coshocton, and Tammy (Bob) Whitebear of Colorado, six grandchildren; Cord, Colt, Cody, Carlie, Tyler, and Casey, two brothers; Tom Lumm of Warner Robins, GA, and Gordon Lumm of Abilene, TX, three sisters; Ronnie-Lee Lumm of Warner Robins, GA, Teresa Owens of Perry, GA, and Avis Little of Coshocton, many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jane (Selders) Darr, father, Rollin Lumm, a brother, Robert Mobley, and his step-mother, Leila (Haverty) Lumm.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009 at Canal Lewisville Cemetery with military rites performed by the Coshocton Co. Joint Veterans Council. Calling hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw.
