Wilmer "Jim" B. Anthony

Danville – Wilmer B. “Jim” Anthony, 79, also known as “The Scooter Man”, passed away on Wednesday April 25, 2018.

He was born in Belknap, PA on June 25, 1938 to John C. and Edith (Crissman) Anthony, who preceded him in death along with 6 siblings.

Surviving are his daughters; Bonnie (Tom) Mongitore of Howard, Joyce Anthony of Danville, and Theresa Daley of Mount Vernon, his son, Wayne (Dawn) Anthony of Wilburton, OK, 23 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a sister, O’dean Sumpter of Ukiah, CA, his former wife, Ruth Anthony of Danville, and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 3-5 on Saturday afternoon at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. No service is planned.
