CANAL LEWISVILLE- Yvonne Lynn Richardson, 61, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 15, 2026.
Born on October 18, 1964 in Coshocton, Ohio, Yvonne was the daughter of the late Forrest Dean Richardson and Crystal Lavern (Buskirk) Richardson. Yvonne graduated from River View High School in 1983, where she studied cosmetology. She later continued her education at The Ohio State University and earned her barber license. Throughout her career, she held several jobs before finding her dream position as a tow motor operator at Marlite in Dover, Ohio, where she worked for many years.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Raymond "Scott" Richardson of Jackson, Ohio, and Terry Allen Richardson of Warsaw, Ohio; and her sister, Carla Sue Richardson.
She is survived by her brothers, Forrest "Bud" Richardson (Debbie) of Glenford, Ohio, and Todd Dean Richardson of Chillicothe, Ohio. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews: Stephen (Carey) Richardson of Centerburg, Ohio; Jonathon (Mary) Richardson of Pataskala, Ohio; Shawna (Nathan) Gross of Pataskala, Ohio; Kody Richardson (Eva Adams) of Coshocton, Ohio; Mackenzie Richardson of Coshocton, Ohio; and Hayley Richardson of Chillicothe, Ohio.
Yvonne was also a proud great-aunt to Madelynn, Quinton, Sophie, Ollie, Karson, & Avery Richardson, Harper Erman, and Brady Fry. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including Bethany Adelman, who held a very special place in her heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Yvonne cherished spending time with her nieces, nephews, and their children. She loved traveling with her mother, enjoyed quilting with her quilting club, and was a devoted fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Jr.
In accordance with Yvonne's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Yvonne's life will be held at a later date.
