Danville – Abraham M. Sanchez, Jr, 15, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2021 at the Knox Community Hospital.
He was born in Jamestown, NY to Tiffany (Welder) Edwards and Abraham M. Sanchez, Sr. Abraham was a student at Danville High School and had just finished the 8th grade. He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, video games, fishing, and swimming. In school he was a big help to other students and the teachers.
Abraham is survived by his parents, Tiffany (Natijani) Edwards of Danville, and Abraham Sanchez Sr. (Lisette Wait) of Jamestown, NY, two sisters, Larissa and Keaira Sanchez of Danville, two brothers, Hunter Welder and Deven Lamb both of Jamestown, NY, maternal grandmothers, Bonnie (Thomas) Mongitore of Howard and Lourdes Sanchez of Jamestown, NY, Thuvia Brown of Ohio, maternal grandfather, Richard Welder, and great grandmother, Ruth Anthony, aunts, Lourdes E. Sanchez of Jamestown, NY, Seravea (Sam) Mories of Howard, Racheal (Francisco) Johnson of Jamestown, NY, Stefanie “Aunt Jo”, Jenny Welder, and Marie (Eric) DeRemer all of Mount Vernon, and Sarah (James) Cooper of Brinkhaven, uncles, Timothy (Heather) Mongitore, Avern (Halley) Edwards, Jodeci (Darrian) Edwards all of Mount Vernon, Tarlton (Felicia) Edwards and Jawan (Audrey) Edwards both of Fredericktown, and Edwin (Kim) Sanchez Jr., and Lisandro Sanchez both of Jamestown, NY, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edwin Sanchez Sr. and Herman Charles Edwards, and a great grandfather, Wilmer Anthony.
Calling hours will be from 2-5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 30 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. A memorial service will follow, with Pastor Chris Cutshall officiating.
