BJ (McDonald) Oyster

                MILLERSBURG- Billie Jo (McDonald) Oyster, 46, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

                BJ was born Nov. 13, 1974 in Coshocton Co. to the late William Edward and Loney (McFadden) McDonald, and a 1993 graduate of East Knox High School.

                She was a very caring and loving person. She was always there to help any friends or family in need, and she “adopted” many kids over the years through sports and friendships. She was an amazing cook, and loved to feed armies of people when given the chance. The most important thing to her was family, and her husband and kids were her whole world.

                She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 27 years, Jack Oyster of Millersburg, whom she married Dec. 18, 1993; her children, Jacolyne Oyster (Nathan Pierce), Austin Oyster (Claudia Hostettler), both of Millersburg, and Cheryl (Sara) Park of Mansfield; a grandmother, Mary Ellen McDonald; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

                In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Christel McDonald; and grandparents, Arnold & Cora McFadden and Edward McDonald.

                A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Millwood Church of Christ, 10900 Millersburg Rd. (SR 62 South) Howard, OH 43028, with Moses Hamilton officiating. Visitation is from noon until service time. Guests are asked to wear face coverings for the health & safety of all involved. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements. A live stream of the service will become available at service time on this page.
