Barbara J. (Lanham) Chaney

 Barbara Jane Chaney, 75, died Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.

She was born March 12, 1947 in Coshocton to the late Henry and Helen Marie (Poland) Lanham.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker, attended Gospel Hill Ministry for 20+ years, and her favorite Bible verse was the 23rd Psalm.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph H. Chaney, Sr., whom she married Sept. 19, 1964. Also surviving is a son, Joe (Carla) Chaney of Mount Vernon, and a daughter, Canda (Jay) Tarman of Coshocton. Grandchildren, Dustin Langley, Brody Langley, Brittany Williamson, Danielle Chaney, & Brandon Chaney. Great grandchildren, Zaynn Langley, Kohen Williamson, & Harper Langley. Siblings, Henry (Sharon) Lanham of Hanover, Paul (Mary) Lanham of Coshocton, Dave (Ida) Lanham of Warsaw, Steve (Lisa) Lanham of Coshocton, Edna (Bernie) Gardner of Coshocton, & Darrell (Angie) Lanham of Coshocton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joana Newell and a brother, Duane Lanham.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis and George Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw. Visitation is Monday 5-7 p.m. and until service time on Tuesday. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
