Barbara J. (Heldenbrand) Davis

                MANSFIELD- Barbara Joan (Heldenbrand) Davis, 70, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at her residence.

                She was born Oct. 27, 1951 in Mansfield to the late Carl S. and Florence E. (Colopy) Heldenbrand. She was a former dental assistant, and she made and sold Native American jewelry.

                She enjoyed going to craft shows as a vendor, crocheting, and video games. She liked wolves, having raised and kept many at home. She loved to spend time with her grandkids any chance she had. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville.

                Barbara is survived by two children, children, Damyan Davis of Danville, Heidi (Chris) Wade of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Laddy Davis, Skyler Davis, and Lestat Wade; a great-grandchild, Sterling Davis; a brother, Michael "Mick" (Gidget) Heldenbrand of Mt. Vernon; and a sister, Bonnallee (Jeff) Ike of Mt. Vernon.

                In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Allen Heldenbrand; twin grandsons, Cory & Cody Wade; and a granddaughter, Joncey Wade.

                A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2022 at St. Luke Catholic Church, with Father Daniel Olvera officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to mass at the church. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
