Fredericktown – Craig Dee Pfouts, 60, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 6, 2018.
He was born in Mount Vernon on August 28, 1957 to Leisle Virginia (Swadner) and Francis Marion “Foo” Pfouts. He loved his family first of all, but also God and his church family. He also enjoyed working on cars of any kind, boating with his daughter and son-in-law, and his dogs, also known as his “Fur Babies”.
Craig is survived by his daughter, Kerrie (Rickie) Fortune of Perrysville, his sister, Kristine (Mitchell) Railing of Apple Valley, sister-in-law, Joyce Pfouts of Mount Vernon, not only his best friend, but his caregiver, Ben Blevins of Fredericktown, nieces, Jocyelynn (Jack) Culbertson of Mansfield, and Justine (Scott) Vandenburg of Michigan, his New Life Community Church family, and his Fur Babies that he got instead of grandkids, “Rebel” and “Beau”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, both his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his brothers, Steven L. and Coby R. Pfouts.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Fischer Funeral Home, 403 High St., in Danville. Pastor Andy Smith will officiate, and burial will follow in Workman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.
