Mount Vernon – Dorothy M. Alexander, 89, a resident of the Ohio Eastern Star and formerly of Howard, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 4, 2020.
She was born in Akron on July 17, 1931. She was the daughter of Harold and Marie (Phillips) Erow. She was a graduate of East Knox High School, and was known for her coloring on many materials.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Kenny “Butch” (Marie) Alexander, daughters, Cheryle McDonald, Debbie (Bryan) Condit, and Carole Jean (Steve) Olson, daughter-in-law, Lesa Alexander, brothers, Dick and Donald Erow, sister, Helen LeMaster, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Laurie, her sons, Stephen and Ronnie Alexander, a brother, Bobbie, a sister, Edith Frazee, and her son-in-law, Mike McDonald.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, at Union Grove Cemetery on Grove Church Rd., Gambier. Evangelist Dave Jones will officiate.
