Gary Watson Obituary

Coshocton – Gary Edwin Watson, 86, passed away at home on Friday April 15, 2022.

Gary was born in Coshocton on August 26, 1935. He was the son of the late Joseph H. and Ruby J. (Reed) Watson. On July 29, 1956, he married Rita P. McKee, who also preceded him in death. Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from General Electric. After his retirement, Gary and Rita traveled to many places throughout the states. He also loved going to auctions, collecting everything, and driving around to visit local cemeteries. He was very fond of his monthly lunch with his classmates. He didn’t know a stranger and enjoyed talking to everyone. He also loved roughhousing with his granddaughter, Rozlynn.

He is survived by his two daughters, Dana L. Watson of Coshocton, and Beth E. (Eric) Klein of Thornville, two grandsons, Kristopher Klein (Rashelle Spangler) and Garrett (Hayley) Klein, a granddaughter, McKenna (Joren) Franks, great granddaughter, Rozlynn Day Franks, and two brothers; Jack J. (Sharon) Watson of Scottsdale, AZ, and David R. (Marsha) Watson of Tempe, AZ.
