Gretchen K. Dues

                MT. VERNON- Gretchen Katharine Dues, 88, died Sunday, March 27, 2022 at her residence.

                She was born Jan. 12, 1934 in Celina, OH to the late J. Herman and Katharine (Sanguinet) Dues. She retired from National City Bank, and was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville.

                Gretchen enjoyed traveling, and her time in card clubs and gardening clubs over the years. She was a bird & animal lover, and an art enthusiast. She had a “wit that wouldn’t quit”, and was loved by all who met her.

                She is survived by four children, Becky Roybal of Reynoldsburg, Chris Allison of Reynoldsburg, Sue Nino of Reynoldsburg, and Jeff (Angie) Allison of Sidney; her dear friend, Ellen Leslie of Mt. Vernon; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

                In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

                Gretchen’s family would like to give special thanks to Travis and Kindred Hospice for the care provided to her.
