Fredericktown – James Cooper, Jr., 34, unexpectedly passed away on July 10, 2022.
He was born in Jamestown, NY on January 4, 1988 to Mary Silsby and James Cooper, Sr. James loved fishing with his children as well as his cousin, Austin Hardy. James always found joy in going to his childrens’ softball and baseball games. He was also a gamer. He loved playing Fortnite with his kids, wife, and sisters-in-law. He also liked going to the races with his father-in-law and children.
James is survived by his wife, Sarah Cooper; his son, James Cooper III of Howard; his daughters, Kaylee Stanton of Jamestown, NY, and Charisma Hibbard of Howard; his father, James (Debbie) Cooper Sr. of Pennsylvania; three brothers, John, Jeffrey, and Bradly Cooper all of Jamestown; his in-laws, Thomas and Bonnie Mongitore of Howard; sisters-in-law, JoJo (Jennifer) Welder of Mount Vernon, Tiffany (Natajin) Edwards of Danville, and Marie Deremer of Mount Vernon; a brother-in-law, Timothy Mongitore of Howard; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, as well as his step dad, Dale Newell.
A visitation will take place at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville from 1-3:00 Saturday, July 16. A memorial will follow. Family and friends are encouraged to share stories.
